Terms of Use and privacy

These terms cover your use of the serpgrab API, whether you use a key from serpgrab.com or subscribe through RapidAPI. By signing up or sending requests you agree to them. If you subscribe through RapidAPI, the RapidAPI Terms of Service also apply and govern billing, subscriptions and refunds.

1. The service

The API returns structured data parsed from publicly available Google search results pages, fetched at the time of your request. We do not create, edit or verify that content. Results can differ from what you see in your own browser, because Google varies results by time, location and other signals. The location parameter is best effort, as described in the documentation.

2. Acceptable use

You may use the API in your own products and services, including commercial ones. You may not:

• use it for anything unlawful, or to infringe anyone's rights;
• use it to send spam, or to harass, track or profile individuals;
• resell or sublicense access to the API itself, or offer it as a competing search-results API;
• share your key with others, or try to get around plan quotas or rate limits;
• attack, probe or overload the service, or try to reach it other than through the documented endpoints.

We may suspend or end access that breaks these rules.

3. The free plan

A key from serpgrab.com includes 250 searches each calendar month (UTC); unused searches do not carry over. One free account per person: we may close accounts we believe are duplicates created to get more free searches. We may change or end the free plan, and will announce changes on this site first. Keep your key secret; signing up again with the same address replaces it.

4. No warranty

The API is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it is uninterrupted, error-free or complete, that any particular result block will be present, or that results are accurate. Google can change its pages at any time; we fix our parsing as quickly as we can when that happens, but there is no service-level agreement.

5. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the API. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the API in the three months before the claim.

6. Trademarks

Google is a trademark of Google LLC; SerpApi is a trademark of SerpApi, LLC. serpgrab is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by either. References to them describe compatibility and price comparison only.

7. Third-party data

Location data uses IP Geolocation by DB-IP, licensed under CC BY 4.0.

8. Changes

We may update these terms or the API. Material changes will be announced on this page (and on the RapidAPI listing); continuing to use the API after a change means you accept it.

9. Privacy

What we collect.

• serpgrab.com signups: your email address, when you signed up and confirmed it, and whether you asked for product updates.
• RapidAPI subscribers: your RapidAPI username and plan, as RapidAPI passes them to us. We never see your email or payment details.
• Everyone: how many requests each key makes and when, and whether they succeeded, so we can run, limit and support the service. Request logs record the endpoint called, never your search query or your email address.
• Signup protection: a one-way hash of the IP address a signup came from, kept for two days to limit abuse.

Search queries and results. Queries are held only while a search is running and briefly afterwards for troubleshooting (at most an hour). Results are not stored after they are returned to you.

Email. We email you your key. We send product news only if you ticked the box, and every such email has an unsubscribe link. We do not sell, rent or share your email address.

Who handles your data for us. Resend sends our email, Cloudflare hosts this site and carries API traffic (and keeps standard request logs), and our servers store keys and usage. RapidAPI handles accounts and billing for its subscribers.

Cookies. This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers.

How long we keep it, and your choices. We keep account data while your key is in use. You can ask us for a copy of your data, or to delete your account and email address, at hello@serpgrab.com; deleting the account revokes its key.
